Very cute desserts. Not too sweet, and beautifully presented. For my personal tastes, the cake could have more flavor, but the mochi was pretty good. The price is a little high for what it is, but the atmosphere and presentation make up for it.

I really enjoyed the matcha crepe cake and the blueberry milk. I like that the desserts aren’t overly sweet here and made with organic ingredients (huge plus). Though the prices are definitely higher than most dessert places.

We purchased a birthday cake from Yiko Yiko. The taste was good. A delicate set of stainless steel utensils was given for purchase over $100.

Yiko Yiko is the perfect dessert spot to brighten anyone's day with warmth and cuteness! The space is decorated with a cozy vibe, complete with soft cushions and adorable jelly cats, creating a welcoming environment. The sofas and large tables make it an ideal place for a comfortable dining experience, whether you're with friends or just relaxing alone. The dessert selection is diverse and delightful, featuring fancy cakes in flavors like soy milk, sea salt caramel, strawberry, sea salt Oreo, and matcha. Each cake is beautifully decorated with artistic toppings such as fruit, crumbles, and intricate designs. They also serve Snow by Mochi, which is both visually appealing and delicious, along with a range of unique drinks. What makes Yiko Yiko stand out even more is that customers can DIY their own cake toppings by contacting them through social media in advance! This adds a personal touch and ensures that each dessert is customized to your preferences. I tried the Moonlight, a coconut milk drink with jelly, and was impressed by how the staff thoughtfully adjusted the sugar level to suit my preference. Their attentiveness added to the positive experience. They also offer several coffee and sparkling water options. Yiko Yiko truly delivers on both presentation and taste, making it a delightful spot to enjoy desserts in a warm and charming setting. Highly recommended for anyone craving a sweet and personalized treat!

We really enjoyed the cake we got here, and they have lots of cute options to choose from. The desserts are on the lighter side, which is great if you like things that aren't as sweet and heavy. Prices are fine - in line with most specialty bakeries. There's free parking but as with most Convoy lots, it can fill very fast. We will definitely go back.

I went in for the first time a week ago and ordered a custom birthday cake and the staff were so kind and accommodating to what i asked for, and the cake looked exactly like the picture i showed them! The cake was delicious and even though it was pricey i would definitely buy from them again for upcoming holidays, the quality was incredible and it tasted so fresh!

I first met the owner when I just arrived in SD. I’ve been ordering cakes from her ever since because hers are both visually stunning and delicious. Finally, after the pandemic, her shop opened! She’s always stood out in the competitive dessert market through her commitment to high-quality ingredients, innovative fusion, and visual aesthetics, winning the hearts of many. I’ve seen some friends complain about the prices, but the taste is truly worth it—perfect for an occasional treat to satisfy your sweet tooth! This time, I tried the caramel crepe cake and the Mango Pomelo Sago. Both were amazing, but I especially recommend the Mango Pomelo Sago—it’s seriously the best I’ve ever had, so good I can’t stop drinking it once I start ~ The shop is small but cozy, with a fresh, minimalist decor, ideal for a quiet chat or some solo relaxation. Just be sure to avoid peak weekend hours and reserve popular items in advance—otherwise, they might sell out if you come late!

Had a fantastic first-time visit to YikoYiko in San Diego while celebrating a birthday for a family member --- came on a recommendation since I'm not local, and it did not disappoint! This spot is a super cute little shop that instantly screams elite bakery vibes. Watching the girls in the back hustle like true professionals was a highlight, beautiful to see that level of craft in action. We grabbed a cake that was outstanding: perfectly moist with a light, balanced sweetness that let the all the flavors shine without overwhelming my tongue with sugar. Loved the thoughtful touch of the included little cutter kit, so convenient for easy serving. This is absolutely the kind of place you return to just to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend for birthdays or any special treat!
